This original watercolor was inspired by a family trip to the Maine coast. While in the little town of Round Point along the coast, we visited and swam in the freshwater swimming hole. On our reluctant way out of town to go home, we drove through the quaint town of Wiscasset. This little scene caught my eye as we were crossing the bridge over one of the many inlets. These buildings reminded me of the lazy days of summers at the coast, lobster rolls, and fresh-made ice cream from roadside stands.

This 10” x 15.5” watercolor is colorfast (when not in direct sunlight) on cold press, acid-free watercolor paper.
