Right before Covid hit, we took a family trip to Maui. I saw this colorful row of surfboards and ocean kayaks lined up next to the beach and it captured my imagination. I had wanted to learn to surf for a while and each time I passed that row of boards, I hoped I'd find someone to teach me. I never knew who those boards belonged too, and I'm still hoping to learn to surf...but, this painting reminds me to never give up on dreams to learn something new.
